When an ADAS windshield is replaced, the cameras must be recalibrated. This is a critical process to ensure the driver's and passengers’ safety. President of Fuyao ARG Group

Mr. Curie Chen joined Fuyao Group in 1989 with over 30 years’ tenure. Having previously served as Export Department Manager, Deputy General Manager and Member of Board of Directors of Fuyao Group, he currently holds posts as Vice President of Fuyao Group, President of ARG Group and General Manager of Fuyao Group (Hong Kong) Co., Limited, heading ARG’s global business out of Hong Kong.

 

Curie is a key pioneer of Fuyao's ARG business, leading Fuyao to being a leading global supplier of automotive glass for the aftermarket. He possesses extensive experience in supply chain management including OEM business, production, quality, procurement, sales and logistics, as well as operations of Fuyao's domestic and overseas automotive glass divisions.

 

Since 2019, he has led the development of the CARG Global Automotive Glass System and Fuyao's global ARG software system, making pivotal contributions to Fuyao Group’s digital transformation initiative.

 

He promoted the large-scale application of Fuyao's “one product, one unique code” traceability system across China's automotive replacement glass market. Through an all-round cooperation with Edows, a service platform for VGRRR (vehicle glass repair, replacement and recalibration) franchisees and TPA management, he secures quality assurance for the final glass installation stage. This effectively delivers on the brand commitment: Choose genuine Fuyao auto glass for safe journeys.

 

In November 2020, he co-initiated the biennial national CARG Automotive Glass Repair, Replacement and Recalibration Competition, jointly hosted by Fuyao and Edows, setting benchmarks for standardized operation of the VGRRR industry.

 

Curie earned his bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems from the Department of Systems Engineering, Beihang University of Aeronautics & Astronautics in 1989.
