On December 18 th , Changan Automobile Company Limited hosted the “2014 Annual Supplier Conference” at the Chongqing Yuelai International Convention Center. Fuyao Glass (Chongqing) Co., Ltd. was awarded the honorary title of “2014 Changan Automobile Outstanding Supplier Award” and “Changan Automobile Supplier Quality Certificates”. This is the 9 th  consecutive years that Fuyao has won this title. CEO of the Fuyao Group Mr. Cho Fai and General Manager of Chongq ing New Zone Mr. Lee Leung Wa received the “QCA Certificates” and “Memorable Flags” from the CEO of Changan Automobile Mr. Ho Chiu Ping on stage during the ceremony.

The main focus of the QCA system of Changan Automobile is to improve the guaranteed capability of the supplier’s quality by centering on 4 aspects: qualified system, steady performance, precise quality control and customer satisfaction. The Chongq ing company experienced a list  of procedures including self-evaluation and application, preliminary examination of qualification, counseling of manufacturing site, satisfaction approval, qualification review, assessment of manufacturing site, final examination of qualifications  and passing  the test, becoming one of the first 3 suppliers which pass the test of Changan Automobile, and also the only corporatation  which passed  within the country.

According to Changan Automobile’s QCA program and progressive construction plan, 60% of the suppliers will pass the QCA certificates in 2025. This  goal was achieved 10 years ahead of the schedule. The acquisition of the QCA qualifications indicated that the Fuyao Group has become a  first-class global supplier of Changan Automobile. The Chongqing Company will now  enjoy advantages including fixed priority, priority products platformization  and module development rights.
