vehicles, Fuyao has participated in the simultaneous development and
mass production of core glass components, delivering vital support for
riding comfort, intelligent driving and cabin experience.
Excessive cabin temperature and harsh glare under blazing
sunlight have long plagued drivers, and Fuyao offers a solution with
solar control coated glass.
Utilizing vacuum magnetron sputtering technology to deposit metallic coatings on the inner glass surface, Fuyao coated glass maintains a high light transmittance of over 70% while effectively blocking heat and slowing cabin temperature rise. It enhances comfort and cuts air conditioning energy consumption. A film removal process is applied to signal transmission zones to eliminate customers’ concerns about weakened signal reception. This product is already factory-fitted on the windshields of multiple HIMA vehicle models.
At the show booth, numerous visitors stepped into the coating glass experience booth to directly compare heat penetration through ordinary glass and Fuyao coated glass, witnessing the outstanding sun protection performance of Fuyao’s coated products firsthand.
In-Cabin LiDAR & PHUD Windshields: Empowering High-Level Intelligent Driving
Focusing on smart cabin
development, Fuyao’s “Transparent Technology” turns automotive glass
into a reliable backbone for intelligent driving.
Conventional externally mounted LiDAR has long suffered from
inherent drawbacks: bulky housings compromise vehicle aesthetics and
raise wind resistance and noise; exposed structures are prone to
damage and aging, pushing up maintenance costs. Most critically,
external radars easily accumulate dirt, deliver poor performance in
rain, snow and fog, and their mounting positions often create blind spots.
The in-cabin LiDAR windshield exclusively developed for the AITO
M7 Pro+ stands as Fuyao’s optimal solution. As the highlight product
at this year’s booth, Fuyao overcame signal attenuation issues caused
by curved glass through innovative materials and precision
manufacturing. This brand-new in-cabin LiDAR windshield eliminates
signal interference plaguing external radars in harsh weather while
preserving streamlined vehicle styling, delivering solid support for
stable intelligent driving system operation.
Meanwhile, Fuyao unveiled its
forward-looking breakthrough in smart optical technology — the
Panoramic Head-Up Display (PHUD) windshield. The product relocates the
projection zone to the black ceramic band along the lower edge of the
windshield, adopting an A-pillar spanning design paired with an
elongated bottom projection area. This creative design completely
avoids obstruction of road vision by key driving information and
supports customizable display content, clearly projecting navigation,
vehicle speed and other data onto the glass.
To
tackle ghosting and light interference common to traditional
transparent-area HUD projection, Fuyao applies special ink printing on
the glass interior, combined with transparent nano-coatings and
polarizing technology to fully eliminate ghosting on curved glass.
Critical information remains crystal clear for both front and rear
passengers day and night. The PHUD windshield addresses the
limitations of conventional HUD systems and further underscores
Fuyao’s leading expertise in automotive glass display technology.
LC Dimming Door Glass: Unlocking the Cabin’s Smart Visual Experience
In the smart cabin sector, Fuyao unlocks new potential for vehicle windows.
LC dimmable side windows have been factory standard equipment on models including the AITO M9 and Luxeed V9. Replacing traditional sunshades, the product controls the deflection of dye-doped liquid crystals via voltage, switching between transparent and opaque states in under one second. Imagine this scenario: tap a button, and the side window instantly dims to block harsh exterior glare, creating a cool, private space for midday rest. When you wish to admire roadside scenery, one tap restores full transparency, letting natural light flood the cabin.
During the auto show,
numerous vehicle owners visited the booth to test the dimming function
and experience seamless visual control at their fingertips.
